Staying Onsite in a Disney Hotel

There are six Disney hotels, and they are fantastic. With Disneyland Hotel right over the entrance to Disneyland Park, and the other hotels within a few minutes’ walk, staying in one of these hotels ensures that you really are immersed in that Disney bubble. Unique theming is reflected throughout each hotel including the reception areas, rooms and restaurants. Each hotel is priced according to its facilities and proximity to the Parks with Disneyland Hotel being the most expensive, and Hotel Santa Fe the cheapest. The list below shows the onsite hotels in the most usual price order, and includes their star rating. Click on each hotel for more information about each one:
- Disneyland Hotel ***** (rooms for up to 5 people)
- Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel **** (rooms for up to 6 people)
- Newport Bay Club **** (rooms for up to 6 people)
- Sequoia Lodge *** (rooms for up to 4 people)
- Hotel Cheyenne *** (rooms for up to 4 people)
- Hotel Santa Fe ** (rooms for up to 6 people)
Families needing an extra bed or two have limited options, which can make finding these rooms more challenging. All of the hotels have some connecting rooms with a door between the two rooms. Sometimes, two rooms in a cheaper hotel can cost less than a big family room in a more expensive hotel, so comparing the prices carefully is a good idea.
Packages differ depending on which company you book through. If booking though the Disney website, tickets to both Parks will be included in the price including the days you arrive and depart. If booking through Hotels.com, you have the option to include or exclude Park tickets with your booking. Park tickets can then be purchased separately on the Disneyland Paris website if necessary. This can save money if you will be arriving late or leaving early on your travel days as you won’t be visiting the Parks on these days. This is also a good option if you have a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass as you won’t need a package that includes Park tickets.
Top Tip: Kit the whole family out in new Disney pyjamas for your holiday!

Staying Offsite in Disney Accommodation
There is one option if you want to stay in self-catering Disney accommodation, and are happy to be a short drive away:
- Davy Crockett Ranch (cabins sleep up to 6 people)
Accommodation at Davy Crockett Ranch is in self-catering cabins, and is situated roughly 11 minutes from the Parks by car. The cabins all sleep six people in two bedrooms with a kitchen/living area in between. You can include a maximum of one dog in your booking for a surcharge, although only assistance dogs are allowed in the Parks. Check the rules about taking dogs to France as these have changed since Brexit.

Staying Offsite in Disney ‘Partner’ Accommodation

Disney has several partner hotels and a Center Parcs village nearby which offer some of the perks of staying in Disney accommodation without the full Disney experience or the price tag to match. Your stay will include different things depending on which company you book with. If booking through Disney, tickets to both Parks will be included in the price. However, you will have a limited choice of accommodation. If booking through Hotels.com, you will need to buy Park tickets separately, but might have more room options that suit your family’s needs. If you don’t want to spend every day in the Parks, and hope to do some sight-seeing in Paris or spend a day in the pool, booking the hotel and tickets separately could be a better option for you.
The Partner hotels sometimes change, but currently include:
- Aparthotel Adagio Val d’Europe (apartments for up to 7 people)
- B&B Hotel ** (rooms for up to 5 people)
- Campanile Val de France *** (rooms for up to 6 people)
- Explorers Hotel *** (rooms for up to 6 people)
- Hotel l’Elysee Val d’Europe **** (rooms for up to 6 people)
- Ki Space Hotel & Spa **** (rooms for up to 5 people)
- Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne-la-Vallee **** (apartments for up to 5 people)
- Villages Nature Paris
Villages Nature Paris is a joint venture between Disney and Center Parcs. You can make your booking through either website, although the accommodation and package options will differ depending on which company you choose to book with. If booking through Disney, apartments sleep up to 6 people. If booking through Center Parcs website or Hotels.com, cottages sleep up to 12 people + 2 infants aged 0-2 years.

- Often cheaper than staying in a Disney hotel
- Some self-catering options

Cons of staying in Disney ‘Partner’ Accommodation
- No Character Meet ‘n’ Greets at accommodation
- No option to purchase a Dining Plan
- No Extra Magic Time in the Parks (except Les Villages Nature Paris)
Staying Offsite in Non-Disney Accommodation

Of course, there are hundreds of other hotel and self-catering options near to Disneyland Paris. Maybe you prefer Disney in small doses, and want to take a step back at the end of each day. Or perhaps you fancy a Paris city break with a day or two at Disney added on? Trains from Paris run directly to Marne-la-Vallee – Chessy Station, right next to the Parks and Disney Village. The possibilities are endless, but some places worth checking out include:

Which Website Should I Book My Disneyland Paris Holiday Through?
It’s always a good idea to check out prices on more than one website before making your booking. If you want tickets to the Parks included in your package, I would recommend booking through the Disneyland Paris website. Your booking will include tickets to both Parks for every day of your trip including the days you arrive and leave. You can link your booking in the Disneyland Paris app, and go on to book restaurants and any optional extras via the app.
If you want to do some sight-seeing in Paris or won’t have time to visit the Parks on your travel days, you might prefer to book through Hotels.com. You will still be able to choose the same hotel, but might miss out on some of the perks that you get if booking directly with Disney. You will need to buy tickets to the Parks separately for the days that you choose. I would recommend buying these on the Disneyland Paris website as they can be linked on the Disneyland Paris app, and you can then book restaurants and optional extras on the app.
